There is this band called Hollus, that are very similar to the Black Crows, and I think anyone should check them out.

Their website is www.hollus.net, and while you are there you can download live and demo tracks.

The reason I put this in the spam forum not the music forum is because I went to school with all these guys. In fact the drummer was in my graduating class in high school.

They sound pretty good. Thanks for the link! I particularly liked "Boys and Girls".. the choppy style of the song works well; it's unusual, especially with the random little harmonica intro.. nice. You'll have to tell us about how the show was.

The concert was pretty good, but the band was 30min late.
They should be releasing the concert in the next few months on DVD, in case anyone is interested. By far the best part of the concert was the fact I got to run the wide-angle camera for the entire second set! Which makes me really hope they actually release the DVD.
Also, they have a single coming out in february which I plan to get.

Hmmm... Yes and the band I was talking about still hasn't done anything with all that video footage I helped shoot. Oh, well. They said their doing their first album now instead.
