You know, I think the SNES is my all time favorite console. I had that sucker at the peak of my gaming excitment. I had so many damn games for that, including the Marios and the Street Fighters and the Mortal Kombats. It was friggin awesome! I don't think I had as many games for the later consoles, or had as much fun out of all of them, as I did with my SNES. You made a good purchase, Fire. I commend you.

Oh man, I never should have gotten rid of it, but alas I was young. Some games to get:

-Earthbound
-Super Metroid
-Crono Trigger
-Final Fantasy III
-Super Mario RPG
-The one with Baby mario (forgot the name)

All those are in my Top 50 ever, pure greatness.

Oh, I forgot about this topic, hehe.

I'm not usually a fan of RPG's (because I suck at them), but I was thinking about picking up a few since the SNES is where all the good old ones seem to be. Only problem is they're really up there in price. tmbgtalk/-omg.gif The collector in me won't let me buy a game that isn't complete either, so I'm really screwed on some of those. tmbgtalk/-laugh.gif

I still think it's kind of weird that it took me so long to get one, most of my friends had one when I was a kid and I always had a ton of fun playing them, much more than my genesis. Ah well, either way, I have one now. tmbgtalk/-grnbiggrin.gif

It might be to late to help you Fire starter, but all nintendo cables are backwards and forwards compatiable. tmbgtalk/+Theyskullicon2_12871.gif Oh FSCL, that sig is awsome.

Thanks for answering that question, it's still helpful info because I never did get a power cable. tmbgtalk/-eyes.gif I just ended up getting an emulator and ROMs of the games I had. tmbgtalk/-laugh.gif

It took me a while to see this, you posted right when my life went crazy. New job, new home... and very little internet access. Armed with this new info, I think I'll grab my Gamecube and SNES next time I go to my parents house. tmbgtalk/-th-u.gif

Again, thanks for the help - and the compliment too, but I didn't come up with the sig... I'm nowhere near that clever. I got it off of Bash.org, the home of IRC comedy gold.
