"Thanks to everyone for making the McSweeney's Vs. TMBG show at Lincoln Center such a success. We raised ten thousand dollars for 826NYC (a drop-in literacy center in Brooklyn - the only drop-in literacy center with its own superhero supply store- www.superherosupplies.com ). Want everyone to know that besides doing as many ABC songs as we know how to play at the House of Blues, we will also be performing 10 selections from the Venue Songs series, and this might be a one-time-only thing for people in the LA area so we encourage you to come on out. The next night we are performing a free show at Amoeba Records for families. We have just added some additional shows, and have a ton of free shows and loud shows coming up. Would love to tell you more but I have to jump on a plane to Detroit so I'll leave it to the TMBG home office to sort out all the links and details!"

i ordered the ABCs CD & DVD yesterday. i'll have to watch the DVD on the computer though, cuz my cheapass DVD player tore up over the weekend. maybe i'll ask for a new one for Mother's Day.

I had to pay for mine too
but it got earased scince then so I'M IN LUCK!!!

that's my worst fear... to have all my songs erased. i would probably die if that happened to me.

OMG that happened to me EVERY MONTH!!!
it seemed about every three weeks or so my mp3 player crashed!
and I had to REdownload all the unreleased songs, and reput my CD's on there
it was an all day chore
but now i have my new mp3 player
I've had it about three weeks and keeping a close eye on it

i wouldn't care if i lost any of my iTunes songs... except for the TMBG ones. i really need to burn em all onto a disk (or 20) sometime. i have most of em burned off... but not all of em.

But it's gonna be an all day proccess, cuz i have to do it on my mom's computer

yeah, i'm too lazy too.

I had to format my computer last month, along with my entire 2000+ song iTunes library. I couldn't even back anything up.

Luckily, iPods can also transfer music BACK to the computer.

So, got to keep all of my music.

The version of Love is Eternity that they're giving away is a lower bitrate, I believe. Too bad, cuz the 256-bit MP3 sounds really good.
