At the show I went to They played Instanbul first and I had the same reaction of pure elation!!!!! It was the best feel I had in awhile.

they played Dr Worm first at my very first show. (STD tour) but the one that really blew my mind was Till My Head Falls Off. i remember thinking... "i can't believe i'm standing here watching TMBG play Till My Head Falls Off!!!!!"

my nephew tried to pass em a note to play Don't Let's Start for me, but i don't think they ever got it.

ahhh, fuzzy memories.

oh & let me warn ya... if you start to feel kinda bummed in a couple of weeks, worrying that you'll never get to see em again, cheer up! you will. that's what happened to me. i was on a cloud for like 2 weeks after, then i was hideously depressed for like a month.

well me and my friends were all jonesin' for Puppet Head, screaming it after every song. They never got to play it though. Oh well, we thought that since they were handing out those "TMBG #1" handy thingys we'd thought it classic that we'd clap those giant foam hands, you know, like in the video, except they weren't red.

i almost got to this spring. it was a Saturday night show & everything. it was all the way in St Louis though, which is like 6 hours away, & the very next weekend was Noah's graduation. we probably still woulda went, but we also had to move all his crap, & we were all so spread out. the kids woulda had to come up first, & bla bla bla. it was just too much.

That was a nice little write-up, Casey. I wish I could've been there!

The only time I've ever seen them in concert was when they played Omaha during the Spine on the Highway tour two years ago -- excellent show! The whole time, I was really rooting for them to play "Fingertips," and they saved it for last.

I felt that way on the drive home from Chicago. They hardley every come around these parts, so, there aren't that many chances. But then, I think about how long they'll be touring, and I know it'll be a long time. : ) So then I'm okay. And, I'm nearly 16, so that broadens my chances a lot.

*sigh* I love having a concert dancing through my head.

Congrats, Casey! Glad you enjoyed the show. I don't remember what the first song they played when I saw them in concert was ... but they opened up with the Countdown, so that was cool.
