I gotta convince someone to take me to the show, or at the very least drop me off at it, in Ann Arbor this November. I checked the ticket prices and it's only about $22 per ticket. I can't rely on my dad taking me since that's on a Wednesday and he has to go to bed around between 9 and 10 pm so he can wake up for work at 4 am (he leaves around 5 for it). If I could drive myself I'd do that, but I'm still stuck with the permit. We'll just see how it unfolds.

if you have a permit, can't you go take the driving part of the test before then & get your actual license in time? of course, you'd need a car to drive...

can you take a bus, or a taxi?

is it very far?

if i lived around there we'd let you pile in with us.

I live about two hours from Ann Arbor, and I do have friends attending and living on Michigan's campus. But chances of hitching a ride out there wouldn't be good, and it's doubtful they'd be going to the show. And since I'm such a lucky person, I turn 18 after the show by about 10 days, so I can't take the road test to get the license right away. I still have to do my 50 hours of driving with a legal driver over 21 first, and I haven't done any.

OIC. our rules are a lot different in Arkansas i guess... or at least they were when my kids got their licenses. Natey got his just in the nick of time. i think they got stricter a day or two after he got his license.

i hope you can figure something out.

and sorry that you have to wait until spring klim, but at least you'll have plenty of time to plan, right? and maybe it'll give me enough time to rake up some cash and see them again! (of course, that's a BIG maybe )
