..the *true* origin of Santa: Lincoln's little-known rise from the grave to the sleigh. And, of course, he's fattened up quite a bit in the mean time. tmbgtalk/-wink.gif

well, Christmas was real nice this year. the kids liked all their stuff. i owe Noah one memory card. tmbgtalk/-lol2.gif me & galoot got a new printer, & i got it all set up. (he's napping at the moment) he'll be really proud of me when he wakes up. tmbgtalk/104.gif

he's a bit of a scoundral, cuz he broke our 'no gifts' pact & got me a Ranger Boats sweatshirt from his work, & then had the kids put their names on it, like it was from them. tmbgtalk/eyes2.gif yeah right! i wasn't born yesterday. tmbgtalk/-laugh.gif

just wait till next year, dammit! tmbgtalk/Swearin.gif

anyhoo, this is my favourite part of Christmas. the part where it's all over except for the mess. tmbgtalk/-th-u.gif it's as far away as i can get from next year's extravaganza. tmbgtalk/-nut.gif

oh yeah, i've been pigging out for days. tmbgtalk/-lol2.gif

i'm not much into cooking & baking. i feel kinda sorry for my kids in that respect. their Aunts & Grannys all like to though, so they gotta get their fixes at their houses. tmbgtalk/-laugh.gif (i always swipe some stuff & bring it home though) tmbgtalk/-bigblush.gif

galoot was proud of me, just like i predicted. tmbgtalk/104.gif

for some reason our Christmas was alien invasion themed cos Aidan got the war of the worlds DVD and the destroy all humans game and I got X-files season six

damn aliens tryin' to steal Christmas tmbgtalk/Swearin.gif

tmbgtalk/-lol2.gif yeah, & then there's that giant frog. tmbgtalk/aD.emo Pack 1.png

he was weird cos he sang joy to the world and strummed his guitar but the musical accompaniment was a piano which didn't make much sense to me. but his lips moved to so I'd make him kiss Dylan then I wondered why Dylan didn't turn into a prince and he was like tmbgtalk/Swearin.gif

I got a gift card to Best Buy and Chilis.... underwear, undershirts...and...um...I think that was it... Oh.. we got $200 to go towards our backyard fence. We mailed everything that we got in Ohio back to us so we didn't have to worry about carrying it... so there's a few things in there I can't recall getting...

Jodie and I are on a non-Christmas present pact... so we didn't give each other anything. We bought presents for 6 different people that our church "adopted" for Christmas.... they put names on the tree and we plucked them off and bought stuff... that's our gift to each other... gifts for others. People need stuff more than us.

Merry Christmas aftermath everyone.

Christmas was most excellent this year. tmbgtalk/Twilight_anim.gif On Christmas Eve, I opened presents and had a big dinner with my parents; and on Christmas Day, my sister and her boyfriend came over with their 2-year-old son and visited for a few hours. tmbgtalk/-th-u.gif

The presents I received include:
-- A pair of slacks (black with flared ankles)
-- A blouse (bluish-green button-down with 3/4 sleeves)
-- A turtleneck (plain white)
-- A black suit jacket
-- A G-shaped brooch
-- A small canister of Blue Diamond Smokehouse Almonds (yum! tmbgtalk/drooling3.gif)
-- A Paring-Pro stainless steel knife
-- A small bottle of room fragrance
-- A mini lava-lamp
-- They Might Be Giants' Venue Songs CD/DVD
-- An import 2-CD set of the Kate Bush albums Hounds of Love (reissue with bonus tracks) and The Sensual World tmbgtalk/-girlslayer.gif
-- DVDs:
Cinderella Man; Kinsey; Charlie & The Chocolate Factory; Vera Drake (used); Finding Neverland (used); and Love Actually (used)

my mom forgot to tell me that she ordered me lemon demon CD's for christmas, but they're not in yet, so I have them on the way so I don't have to spend that $25!!! tmbgtalk/woo.gif
