I'm watching Sixteen Candles right now... "What's happenin', hot stuff?"

I just got back from a movie not to long ago, and it's a bit past midnight. I have work at 6 tomorow morning no fair. I saw the ring two. it wasn't too bad. Neither the first nor the second were scary. I don't see what all the hype was about. But I did see some previews for a few movies that looked interesting. most were horror and I'm not usually into that kinda movie, but they actually looked pretty good. and I'm WAY excited about hitch hikers guide. I CAN'T WAIT

I didn't think the american ring was anywhere near as good as the japanese one, I havnt seen ring2 yet

I see it at my blockbuster all the time but never acutally picked it up.

I'm going to sleep now. I won't we on till about 4 in the after noon tomorow.

movies are never scary, cuz they're only movies.

you know what scares me most about Japanese movies? all the reading i have to do. now that's frightening.

poor galoot has to work today, so i'm up.

nothing bugs me more in a horror movie than the cheap cat jumping out of somwhere scare. you may well right I'm a completely un original HACK across the screen when you do that

That said the end of the original dark water scared the piss out of me the first time I saw it. all the hairs on my arms stood up and everything

The ending of audition didn't so much scare me as it was just brutal and horrific to watch

so

i think i'm just jaded. plus i almost never see movies in the theatre. somehow they're not as scary on a TV screen.

recently it's only really been Asian movies that have been scary. cos everyone seems to be giving their ghosts and monsters these weird gimicks, and shooting them real stylish looking but not actually having anything aproaching scary in them, the just try and jolt you with sudden blast of sound and thats just cheating in my book

yeah... stoopid cheaters.

the last movie that really scared me was the mothman prophecies and that's because it was based on acutally events. the mothman scares me my brother has books about the mothman and those are some freaky stories and news paper cliping things.
