I'm sorry Biff... That was a lame attempt at some twisted humor I suppose....

I have been to the dentist a lot too... starting with the braces thing... and then in recent years I've had to have a root canal (had to go like 3 times or something) in which I thought was basically nothing... that is until I saw the bill. The bill!

I've also had 2 wisdom teeth pulled and a couple of crowns. I'm just not scared of the dentist at all... That is, except for the bill, which probably gets my blood pressure up (blood boiling) more than anything.

Of all the things I had done at the dentist, I honestly thought the braces were the worst. When they first put them on, my teeth hurt like hell for days, and I couldn't really eat anything and they hurt like hell the first few times they tightened them. When they put the muthers on they had to keep my mouth completely dry and used this insane appliance they said would stretch my mouth to my ears... I'd say!

Biff, I'm sorry that you have to do all that, but I wish you well, and will sure be glad when it's all overwith for you.

thanks Miz. we do have insurance though. galoot just became eligable for it in January, that's why i waited. i knew it was gonna be bad.

i wish i woulda had braces. i have a huge overbite. poor galoot went through hell with his though, so i guess maybe i got off lucky. (in a family of 9 kids, nobody gets braces)

teeth problems suck out loud!
I have braces right now and I've had them for 3 and half years!!!
I'm about ready to get some pliers and remove them myself
plus i can feel my wisdom teeth coming in, and getting those removed is gonna be 7 kinds of suck!!!
I've allready had to have 4 teeth pulled which required a grand total of 10 shots in my gums! that felt sooo messed up!
well I hope you get your teeth situations under control

i had all my wisdom teeth pulled in my late teens. now my ignatz is complaining about his. hopefully he only has one, like his Dad. i had 4 & they were all impacted.

my first appointment isn't till March 29th, so i figure i'll go hang out in my cocoon of denial till like March 28th.

I've had braces throughout ALL of high school
i got them the summer before my freshman year, and now i'm gonna graduate!
i wanted people to see me without them before I go on with my life :'(

That sucks. how do the gage when braces are meant to come off, is it just if the teeth have moved to the right position or something else?

that's just like what they did to galoot. he wore em for a long time, then they took em off, then they put em back on, then they took em off, then they wanted to put em back on, but he said no. they said the gap in the front would come back. he said he didn't care, cuz by then he was fed up. it never did come back though, & even if it did... i think a gap is kinda sexy.

ignatz is my son, & bee is my other son. bee's name at this board is TheNicestOfTheDamned, but i call him bee, cuz his name at the old board was a bee sees.

ignatz will be 21 on March 5th. he's a Jr in college. bee is a Freshman in college, & he's 18.

i had em really young.

my Dad had a space between his front teeth, & anything my Dad had is subconciously appealing to me, because he was the perfect man.
