Interesting about John L, he does laways seem to be looking at people straight in the eye, and I think he is farsighted, or longsighted, I think I;ve read that somewhere.

Remember the Mexican wave? They two Johns were talking about how in America people either like music or sport, but in the UK we like both? After howls of derision from the crowd, John L said "OK, so you don't like sport?" , I replied (in a conversational volume BTW) 'Yes, we do'! and he looked right at me and said 'Oh, don't you deny it!'

Cute Dan Miller story, as we were walking away from the venue he walked past us and I said 'Hey Dan', and he turned round and said 'oh, hey' then he paused and looked at us and said 'Do I know you guys?' I said, 'No, we've just been to the gig' and he replied 'oh, of course, yeah. See you round!'. It wasn't as if he'd even changed clothes!

I've just been re-reading this and making myself laugh again with that Dan Miller story. Another thing I forgot to add was he was HOLDING HIS GUITAR.

I can't believe he really go confused over whether he knew us. That is one of the weirdest things that has ever happened to me.

well, he's a really nice guy... & he probably doesn't think of himself as anyone 'famous'. it's not like he's Brad Pitt or something.

That's true, but considering that

A ) He had just been onstage in front of 300 people

B ) He was walking out the door from the very same venue

C ) He was wearing the exact same clothes as he did on stage

D ) He was carrying a guitar

and E ) That he has the same name as two other guys in the band

that he wouldn't be surprised that someone knew who he was!

So sweet.
