i finally started sewing the slipcovers for the seat of my swing. i gotta do it by hand, which is a pain, but i think it's gonna come out good.

i really miss swingin.

i hope the dogs stay home tonight. i'd kinda like to sit out on the porch without getting drooled on.

my Dad's car broke down again

My car is close to broken down... I don't think I have brake pads anymore on my car. It makes a horrible sound like concrete grinding with metal when I start slowing down my car.

Also I'm working on redesigning all the character's for my site. They'll look similar, but the style of drawing seems done to death, and I want to make something that when you see it you'll think, THAT was done by Pell Mell Productions.

Also using garlic bread to make a grilled cheese just sounds VERY delicious to me right now.

i got both of the seat covers done, but it rained all day (yesterday) so we couldn't put em back on.

i didn't cover the backs, cuz they weren't rotted away like the seats were. i'll make a basic slipcover for them later.

i wish i'dve took a picture of the seats before i covered em. if i hadn't made covers, the whole swing would've been useless by the end of the summer. now it should last for years.

i had a random thought, but i forgot it.

The thumb on my left hand has been really bothering me since at least Thursday -- I think I might've sprained it while working on candle stuff (lifting a pot of wax or whatever). I've taken both aspirin and ibuprofen for it, and neither have done much to help. (This next week, I'm going to lay off both typing practice and working out with my arm weights, as well...)

bless your heart! i hope it's not tendonitis. i had that in my thumb once, & i had to change the way i did practically everything. galoot said i would just moan all night in my sleep. it was horrible.

i'll call Mom when she's up, & get you on the prayer chain.


well, vacation is over. when the alarm went off this morning i was like... what the hell?

poor galoot! at least i get to go back to bed.

Nathan & Keesha are here! they got here around 8:30 or so last night. they were on their way back from the wedding, & decided to stop by.
