galoot was only a little early getting home, so i was out of the shower in time.

we have a date with Mom today! her birthday was on the 19th, & we got her a candle, but i told her her main gift was that we were gonna take her to the Bamboo Garden for lunch today. she loves eating there, but she hardly ever gets to go anymore, so we decided to treat her. it should be an experience.

she also wants a Chia Pet, but i couldn't find one at wal mart. i guess i should do a web search & see if i can find her one that way...

I love those chia pets, have you tried looking at a hardware store? that's the only place I can find them (locally anyway)

that sounds like it'll be a nice birthday party is it Asian food? I like eating out sometimes, since our Family rarely does stuff like that anymore

yeah, it's Korean food. we had so much fun! the lady who runs the place likes us a lot, so she came by the table to talk to us. i told her we were there for my Mom's birthday, & at the end of our meal she brought out some cake, & she & the cute little waitress they have sang her happy birthday. it was adorable.

after we took Mom back home, we went & saw Knocked Up. man, i love that movie!

then after that we went & got the ingredients to make ice cream today. i hope i'm not coming down with a new food addiction. i just recently got over the whole fudge thing... (although i keep going through waves of temptation to make a batch)

my sister really wants to go see knocked up, I'll have to tell her that it's good!

today me and my grandpa built a makeshift kinda fence around the back porch to keep the dog from crawling under it, he keeps digging holes under our house! it looks a little junky, but it's better than having huge holes under the porch

i know what you mean. the dogs out here used to drive galoot nuts, digging up the yard. now they're old & sore, & they don't dig anymore.

it was kind of like the end of A Christmas Story. (the singing thing)

we had to go in today for charcoal & meat. i'm having a nice vacation.

I got to go with 2 of my friends to Ft. Smith, AR today and we stopped at all the music shops there...it was so nice! It was kind of funny because I was wearing my TMBG shirt and looking at keyboards, and my friend was wearing an Aerosmith shirt and was looking at electric guitars...our tastes in music are so different!

I love getting new candle scents.

i'm the only one up. it's kinda nice. i was in bed by 11 last night. i was just exhausted.

i guess it rained all night. it looks really wet out there.

man, my Dad's car broke down this weekend...that kinda sucked, but we got it towed and are getting it fixed, so it's all good

I'm buying an old Ferrari accordion off ebay too, I don't know where I'm gonna learn to play it though

Today I was playing basketball during my break at work with some of the other employees and the pavement by the basketball hoop was so hot that I have blisters on the bottom of my feet! ew. ow.

Yay for summer, though. I love being at the beach.
