oh yeah... random thoughts.

when the kids are here, they really suck up my computer time.

i don't think i missed much. the board's been running so crappy lately.

i posted about the slowness in support this morning. i doubt it'll do much good though. (i'm so jaded)

i need to find a good free web host for American Abstract.

we had a whole record company going in my kitchen yesterday.

i love when the kids are home.

i'm exhausted.

I'm glad you get to see them biff! I always hated being away from my familly too

Yesterday, I went on a field trip with the Teen Summer Reading Program, with the Library...we learned how to conduct interviews and got to use a $2000.00 camera I also met this guy who was into all the same stuff I am (even TMBG! ) he says he's gonna participate in the other SRP programs, it'll be nice to have someone interesting to talk to, I love making new friends!

I'm hoping my neighbor will come over and help me fix my bike so I won't have to walk to the Library for the meetings (not that it's far or anything)

man, i overslept so bad today! i actually woke up around 10:15, but i went to the bathroom & then i went back to bed till almost noon. i was just gonna lay back down for a few more minutes...

i suck!

I always sleep in late in the summer, there's something about it that makes you so sleepy I still have my alarm set for 6:00AM, I turn it off and just lay there....it makes me appreciate it more I think

I went to Target to get a couple pairs of new pants today, and all they had were damn low-riders! (So I didn't get pants, but I did find a couple of nice button-down tops...)

I think for the normal, comfortable cut of pants that I like, I may have to check out a couple of thrift/secondhand places in the neighborhood.

man, i was never so happy as the day hip huggers came back in style. i am such a product of the 70s.

maybe it's just the summer thing making me so sleepy then...

plus, yesterday was pretty exhausting. i felt like i was under the gun the whole day.

i took a nap on the couch tonight. i figured what the heck, galoot was playing solitare anyway.

now i'm not very sleepy at all.

For me, it's a comfort thing -- I'm still a size 12, but I also still have a bit of a gut, so a high waist in that size feels fine while a low-rise/hip-hugger waist in the same size feels way too tight.

high waisted pants always make me feel like i'm getting squished. everybody is different though. i don't see why they can't make both kinds.

I fluctuate between a 8-10-12 but I have mostly size 10 low cut pants. I like low cut because you can gain a bit in the waist, but it still fits around the hips
I find I gain at college but lose at home

my kids were always the opposite. they gained at home. i guess they like my cooking.

man, i feel like i breathed in too many dust mites last night. i had to take a claritin.

poor biff, allergies suck!

I hover around 129-136 pounds, usually...I like pants that are kind of in the middle, right below my belly button I feel like low pants make my belly stick out, whereas high pants (above the belly button) look odd on me, and make it hard to sit down but they look fine with a loose sweater or something like that...

my Dad bought me a New Wave CD collection type thing! I love the guy

i was on the porch earlier, & i saw one fly in with me when i opened the door.

whatever you do, don't live across the road from cows & horses & down the road from turkeys. if you do, your life will be a living hell in the summer time.

or if you DO live near livestock, at least have some depth perception, so you can kill em easier.

(none of it was here when we first moved out here. bastards)

well, there went the satellite. it's storming here.

now i gotta go crawl on the floor to turn on the antenna.

oh well, it's good exercise.
