Me and some friends are going to the theatre to see 'Pirates of the Carribean 3' tonight, we're dressing up as pirates too! (it's kinda a little tradition we've got going when we go to the theatre) and I'm gonna have to pull $10 out of my savings box

the chick at the repair shop called, & our mower is fixed! galoot is gonna be so happy! he wasn't expecting to get it back till next week. our yard is a jungle.

so anyway, i got woke up by the phone, & i had already stayed up too late before my nap this morning, so i feel kinda fuzzy at the moment. (& i'm dressed before noon, which is just totally bizarre)

Oh, man, that sounds fun... I'm waiting until next weekend to see Pirates, though -- that way, the crowds should be a bit smaller, and there's less risk of running into sold-out showings.

i only kinda saw the 1st one, & missed the 2nd, so i doubt i'll be going to the 3rd. maybe i'll catch it on TV some time.

he has today off, so i got to sleep in. with Memorial Day, it'll be a 4 day weekend for us. the kids aren't coming home for the holiday though, cuz they're going to Riverfest. Noah's all excited, cuz he's gonna get to see George Clinton & The P-Funk All Stars.

but we had a fun time at 'Pirates' last night, we wanted to be there for the premiere so we got our tickets in advance it was still pretty crowded, as far as my little town goes we only got stared at funny a few times but it was totally worth it

I can't wait till Memorial Day, there is always something awesome to be watched on TV that day

a bamboo windchime i got last summer blew off the porch & broke last fall. i was gonna throw it away, but galoot said we should try to fix it. i don't have the guts, so he's doing it. it's kind of a puzzle, cuz the stringy parts have to end up right, or it'll still be screwy.

it's just way too much thinkin for me.

my kids collect old game systems & games. you wouldn't believe how many old Nintendo games (& etc) Noah has. his Nintendo list alone is in the hundreds.

Thunderbird is a citrus wine that sells for $2.89. it's like 17.5% alcohol though, as compared to most wines which are like 7% - 9% or something.

anyhoo, it kicked our @$$es! i remember now... i remember now... why they called it Thunderbird.

we had fun though.

my best advice? don't ever drink a whole bottle of Thunderbird. (unless you want to be drunker than you've ever been in your whole life)
