My bike is REALLY broken, the brakes don't work and you can't change gears either I have a guy friend who's gonna come by to fix it (I think he knows more about bikes than I do) I love that bike, it's been with me for quite some time and is held lovingly together with wire and ductape...plus it's my only way to get me to a compute rwith internet this summer!

I got my glasses fixed today.

A new candy shop (called Hollywood Candy) opened up downtown a couple days ago -- a really nice place. I applied with them this morning; hopefully I'll hear back from them very soon.

my babies came home for Mother's Day! what a nice surprise. they both told me they had other plans earlier in the week, but i guess they were fibbing.

my house is a wreck now.

galoot showed me a really sweet card yesterday ( ) & we got a pie, & a big bottle of wine, & he got me a new pillow & 2 t-shirts that were marked down from 7 to 5 bux.

i'm gonna have to go back & get some more of those t-shirts in some of the other colours, cuz i like em a lot. (& i love anything that's marked down)

oh, & we ate at Salsa's, which is my favourite place to go. i just love everything about that place.

ps... Mom loved her Mother's Day present.

in Melissa news, they finally found out what's making her sick. She has pneumonia and a lot of it. they're starting to give her antibiotics
