yesterday I tried to get my sister to buy some bamboo wind chimes for her new house, but she wanted metal ones

oooh! i love the bamboo ones. i had 2, but one of em blew off the porch in a big storm & broke. i assigned galoot to try to super glue it back together, cuz i have no depth.

they sound so cool.

man, I forgot my bookback on my bed when I went back to put a hoodie on (it was colder than I expected it to be this morning) I can't believe I didn't notice the lack of extra weight...I didn't notice until I got off the bus, I'm so forgetful sometimes!

it was freezing here this morning too, and windy!...darn this weird unpredictable weather

oh i know! i hate it!!! it's 35º out there this morning, & it's supposed to get even colder in the next few days. the poor little kids are gonna freeze their butts off on Easter when they're out hunting eggs. i'm glad mine are big.

they didn't do anything to me. i just want them out of their misery. they were gorgeous last summer, but i had to bring them in for the winter, & they both got a fungus. i looked it up on the internet to see if i could cure them, & when i did i found out that they're not meant to be houseplants, even though they sell them at wal mart & home depot, etc. if they're in the house, they don't get enough light, & they get a fungus. in order to "cure" em you gotta spray em every day for 7 days with fungus medicine that's like 6 bux a bottle. it takes like 1/3 of a bottle to spray one once. i don't have 50 bux to waste saving plants that are just gonna get sick again next winter when i'd have to bring em in again. they shouldn't even sell em in the first place.

galoot suggested we cut all their leaves off to see if they'd grow back unfungusy, but even if they did, they'd just get sick again. it's a vicious cycle.

I'm sorry biff, were'nt they the ones you decorated for Christmas, they were so pretty! it's a shame

my grandparents turned the heat off at my house because they finnally thought it was warming up

yeah, i decorated one of em for Christmas. (it's 3 palms in one pot) i also have a dying ponytail palm that was real pretty last summer.

oh well. you live, you learn.

can't you just turn the heat back on now that it's cold? i was blowing air co last week, now i'm blowing heat. crazy Arkansas.

galoot is off tomorrow for Good Friday... with pay.

i think the kids are coming, but i haven't heard anything official. they didn't know last week when they came that this week is Easter, or they probably woulda waited.

i had a brilliant idea!

i have this plant stand that holds 3 plants. if i take one off, the whole thing tips over from the weight of the others. (i found that out the hard way) but i got to thinkin... if i put a can of like peas or whatever under each of the low ones, i can move them at will without worrying about spilling dirt everywhere.

cuz i tend to move em around a lot. when it's warm i put em on the porch, but i bring em in when it's cold, or when a big storm is coming, etc.

man, i love me sometimes.
