yeah, it's an El Nino year. (or is it La Nina this time around? i forget) that's why my yard is such a mess. all it does is rain rain rain. just when my puddles finally dry up, it rains again.

i gotta get some rocks.

the neighbourhood dogs all belong to family members, so i know em all real good. i have family on all sides. long story.

this was kind of a long week.

yeah, I noticed that too...I can't wait to get home and sleep!

I went to the eye doctor today and got some new contacts, it's quite a relief. The old ones were so dry! plus I got to miss my first two class periods which was nice...

the kids might be coming tonight, but they're calling for an ice storm up north of here.
i think it'll be ok here, but you just never know. i hate bad weather on a weekend they might come home.

i want em to come real bad. they each got another Christmas present after they left.
(i guess i could bribe em like when they were little)

i better go search me up a weather forecast for where i live, cuz my so called 'local' news was no help at all. (& yet, i still don't get my east & west anymore, bastards!)

i need to pour more water in with the fish, cuz the sound it's making is bugging the crap outta me)

yeah, my "local" news isn't very reliable either...than again it's technically Arkansas news...which might explain it

it was making that trickling water sound that can sometimes be relaxing, but at other times is really annoying. kinda like a fountain.

speaking of showers, it's been raining all day... but at least it's just rain. in Springfield MO they got a bunch of ice & everybody's power is out.

my yard is TWO lakes, with a river on top.

It's freaking freezing in Omaha (the high today was in the teens) -- we got some snow this morning, and we may be getting more in the next couple of days.

the cold is probably the worst part. i hate being cold.

if our rain woulda been snow, it would be up to the roof by now. it stopped for about an hour, but now it's raining again.

I hate how you finally start doing things right & everything just keeps going wrong. And I really get chapped when people you love screw you over and all the while are telling eveyone else you love that YOU are the problem. Eh, such is life I spose.

I haven't been able to get on lately due to the weather, The Oklahoma governer had declared a state of emergency over the weekend, it was scary!

Luckily the worst missed us, but we were also, I think, the only school in the whole county open today...
