galoot sez "thank you GR!"
he's having a very good birthday.
the kids got home around around 1ish. their roommate Ivy baked galoot a cake & sent it up here with em.
we were so touched that she went to all the trouble. it was a really good cake too.
we hung around a while, then galoot opened his presents. he liked em all.
(he helped me pick all but one of em)
as i was walking through the kitchen to throw away the wrapping paper mess someone knocked at the back door. it was Katy!!! i didn't even know she was coming to town... well, i knew she was in February, but not what day.
anyhoo, i got to see Katy & Vic, & Katy's sister Amy & her husband. it rocked.
our nephew Mason came by while Katy was here, but he was too shy to talk to her. her new little grandson is also named Mason, so that was kinda fun.
one of the Kids' friends also came by, cuz he forgot his phone in Nathan's car.
it's weird. we never get company.
anyhoo, after everyone left, & the Razorbacks WON, we went to Chinese Palace for dinner. when we got home i noticed the voicemail thingy was blinkin. i checked & it was my brother in law. my neice Stacy is in labor!
if she can hold off till after midnight, the baby will be born on galoot's birthday.
that would be extra cool, cuz his middle name is gonna be David after him.
my fingers are so crossed right now.
so yeah, i randomly think it has been a very eventful day.
) 
the y at the end of birthday is almost running off the edge.

Sounds like you had a really good one! I'm glad to hear that the kids got to come over. 
My sister still hasn't come back over since that time right before Christmas... (Had I known she wouldn't be coming over around New Year's like she said she would, I wouldn't have let her borrow my Charlie & the Chocolate Factory DVD...
