well luckily for me, all i gotta do is deviled eggs. like 70 of em.

& with deserts, you can stretch it out to at least an hour, if you take a smoke brake in the middle.

it's kinda hard to listen to an interview & post at the same time. i'm only absorbing like half of it.

i just want to say that i love the instrumental in the marquee.

yesterday when i woke up from my nap it was 65º out. by the time galoot got home, it was 55º. the wind is whippin out there this morning. i guess winter really is coming again this year.

there's gonna be a parade in my town tomorrow, so I'll probably just go to that

also, I got paid today! me and my friend are gonna go to Ft. Smith, AR (to the nearest mall and Hastings) this weekend and buy some stuff I'm hoping to find something TMBG

Yay pay day!!

No payday for me, but I'm going shopping downtown with my friend this week! I haven't done a real clothes shopping since right before college, which was more than 2 years ago! I mean, I'll pick up the odd band t-shirt every now and then, or a pair of pants, or a sweater, but thats how long its been that I've gone shopping for just that purpose.

i hate to shop.

man, i'm glad i live in the South. one snow a year is more than enough for me.

What! I looooove the snow! I remember my first year here in college and a bunch of my friends were from the south and had never really seen snow (or hadn't in a really long time), and the first snow, we all had so much fun. This is from then:

I'm trying a new recipe (for steak) for dinner, which I'm looking forward trying, since I almost always cook really simple stuff.

Then after dinner my friend and I are going to see a stand-up comedian, Demetri Martin. Should be fun.

i liked snow when i was a kid. once i became the Mom, i lost interest in it. when yer the Mom & you see snow, all you see is a big mess that you're gonna have to clean up. puddles all over the house, wet clothes that need drying, & the possibility of a power outage.

but it's pretty when it's falling, i suppose.

Yeah I guess I could see how that would make snow less fun. When I was younger I remember my mom making me and my brother stand on a towel by the front door and wouldn't let us go anywhere until we got rid of everything that was wet

Also, once you start driving, snow becomes less fun. Fortunately I don't have to drive here in Chicago!
