my grandparents are going to an auction tonight so I'm gonna hang out with my friend at my house for a while we can play music as loud as we want!

I just hope that I can get over this head cold before the field trip on monday I'd really like to enjoy it, I mean, it's not everyday that I get to travel

galoot dozed off in his chair, so i'm being quiet. i'm glad he's getting some rest. we don't have to leave as early as usual, cuz Tim's gonna be at deer camp. the kids probably won't call till 7 or later, & i don't need much at Wal Mart.

gosh, it's been forever since I've been to wal-mart (I think Halloween) my grandparents usually go while I'm at school

I wouldn't really mind staying up, except I have class at 9:30, 10:30, and a midterm at 11:30

So I thought I'd stop in and say hi here, as long as I'm not doing anything (especially not sleeping!!)

i got it all done, so i can go back to cleaning the house now. (not that you care all that much, i know)

so yeah, i got the pic done. that's about all i did yesterday. well, i also made a meatloaf, but other than that...

i'm glad to have it done, because although the kids didn't make much of a mess when they were home, there's still some stuff i need to clean.

yesterday was Veteran's Day, but i was so busy that i forgot to go wish Vy a happy one. i'll have to post him a belated happy today.

the field trip to Tulsa Gilcrease Museum was really fun, we got to stop at the mall again, I picked up 'They Might Be Giants Live' at an f.y.e. I already have 'Severe Tire Damage', but felt I had to continue the tradition of purchasing TMBG CDs out of town

it's gonna be a pretty weird week, I got monday out of school because the trip, I get friday off because of the Centennial (Oklahoma turns 100 Nov 16!!) and then we get the next week off for Thankgiving

Field trips rule and yay days off from school!

I'm happy Thanksgiving is next week already.
Flying home for it too, unlike last year. Hopefully my family behaves themselves for thanksgiving

I'm a little less busy now that I dropped one of my classes, and I got 10 hrs of sleep last night so I was feelin good today!

At school we had a gingerbread house building con-*test*-('") today, and my 3 buddies and I decided to partake. We built a killer gingerbread trailer home It came out so good, we think we have a shot at winning (cash prizesss). I was walking past some other group and overheard "the gingerbread trailer is SO AWESOME!" I'll have the pics of it eventually and post em Even if we don't win, it was really fun.

i can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving!!! where did this year go?

i guess i should call Mom & see how many are coming, so i can get an idea of how many eggs i gotta devil.

Thanksgiving is nice. i like a big meal at Mom's. Christmas stresses me out terrible though. aside from the fact that the kids will be home, i'm not really lookin forward to it.

i'm glad me & galoot don't do gifts for eachother anymore.

this year i'm gonna get a cheap-ass short little fiber optic tree from Fred's. i don't think i have the energy for a big tree.

& i still haven't bought any cards...

Thanksgiving is always such a chaotic time, there's all that insane food shopping at Wal-Mart, that food preparation that you have to start like a day before, and then the mess afterwards it seem's like an awful lot of trouble for a meal that's scarfed down in less than 30 minutes...but I'm looking forward to it, it's always worth it to have the whole family together
