it's just the camera & microphone that are messed up, & i hardly ever use them, but it's free so what the heck.

Robert got me all fixed up. i practically have a whole new computer now. he replaced the whole front of it today, cuz that's what the microphone is connected to. i also got a new camera, & the other day i got a whole new circuit board. last week i got a new disc drive. i don't think there's a whole lot more stuff in there.

they shoulda sent me a new computer to begin with & saved us all a lot of trouble.

it was nice to meet a new person though. Robert is a super nice guy.

it was kinda free. i paid like $160 for AppleCare, which is good for 3 years. it was worth every penny. a whole new iMac would be $1300 or more.

if anybody ever buys a new computer, be sure to pony up the extra $$$ & get an extended warranty. they're usually a rip-off, but not when it comes to computers.

also, some crazy bearded guy just came in and picked me up and was spinning me around really, REALLY fast... he was leading me around the computer store...it was crazy

Thanks again, guys. The roof guy came around this afternoon and patched the roof -- plus, he trimmed the tree in the backyard, which most likely caused the hole. (The last time somebody was here to patch the roof, the tree wasn't trimmed.)

when i lived at home, i loved having the whole place to myself. it didn't happen very often though, since there were so many of us. it was fun when it was just me & my sibs too though. Joe really knew how to have a good time back in the day.

i got all the items i needed for my new project at wal mart yesterday. now all i need is that one thing. i hope it comes today.

it probably won't though, since i'm all antsy for it.

Mom loved the new labels i made her. i gotta retweak em though, cuz i wasn't 100% happy with the font.

she also got a lesson in computer talk... as in "the text is called the font, & that little picture is a dingbat".

i didn't use a dingbat on her labels though. i found a cute picture. that was mainly what i had to get her ok on before i go to the trouble of fixing the font.

anyhoo, she was real happy. i love to do little things to make her happy like that. (especially since she sat there & told me about every one of her friends who has died. i'm glad she's outliving everybody)

i'm also gonna make her some more with her head on em cuz A i found a better head & 2 she has almost used em all up. & she said she'd be too embarassed to use em. HA! i knew better.

I'm gonna hang out with my mom today, her and my dad are kinda going through some rough times so I haven't really been able to just "hang out" lately whatever happens though, I'm sure things will be okay, they always turm out that way
