i hope Nathan doesn't mind that his bedroom has a sewing machine in it now. i got a little cheapass $20 table at wal mart yesterday & put it on there. i always had to keep it in my closet before. it was such a pain to have to drag it out & set it up on the kitchen table every time i needed to sew something. now if something needs mended it'll be right there all ready to go!

it was my reward to myself for cleaning their rooms. i deserve it.

next time they're home i'm gonna tell em that anything they take out has to go back (neatly) before they leave. i like things tidy now. they're big boys. they can handle it.


i broke my ethernet cable this morning! my modem got knocked off the table (by me) i got it kinda temporarily propped up all funky so i can be online... but it's somewhat precarious...

oh well, i've been wanting to check out our new Staples anyway. maybe i'll pick up some ink when i'm there. also... i'm looking for something i need for my next big project. i can get it online if i have to, but it would be easier if i could just find it in town somewhere...

my Mom bought me my sewing machine years ago. i just got a new table & set it up in Nathan's room. i didn't know how to word it right at 5 am i guess.

i've been cleaning blinds & windows today, & galoot's been helping. they get pretty nasty when you smoke in the house. (i suck for that. don't ever smoke!!!) i have one blind drying outside, & one more to go, & 2 windows to wash. when i say wash, i mean i've really been washing em. the whole window frame & everything.

i'm so proud of me!

also, galoot brought home a great piece of carpet for the man cave (Noah's room) & we put it in there. it looks really good.

my back is killing me, but this is so fun!

also, i had a couple of big sips of galoot's peppermint liquor, & i'm buzzin pretty good.

I only made $16 today -- now, if I'd had a dollar every time someone said "Smells good over here," "Those look pretty," or "I'll come back around here once I've seen the rest of the tables," I'd have made a heckuva lot more -- but I did have a good time. I even bought a cool bluish-purple bracelet from the table across from mine.

here's a tip...

if you ever wash blinds with the hose, wear rubber gloves. my fingers have blind cuts all over them.

they're just like paper cuts, except they come from wet blinds.

my microwave heating pad is getting kind of overcooked. it's not very squishy anymore. i need a new one...

tip #2... if yer gonna kill your back, make sure your heating pad is still squishy first.

i still need to iron my living room curtains & hang em back up. i just got too tired yesterday...

i wanna make some new ones. i never did like the ones that came with the place. now that i have a place to sew, maybe i'll get around to it one of these days...

anyways, Saturday I babysitted from 6:30 to 12:30 at night and earned 30 more bux ...like I said, it's a sweet gig

and I got paid today too, I'm gonna go watch a play tonight at the college with my friend then we're going to hang out at her dorm and watch "Doctor Who" for a while

We got a lot of rain Sunday, and my folks and I discovered two more leaks in our ceiling. But this morning we finally had a guy come into our house and take a look; he should be back over here to fix the problem Thursday. (I just hope it doesn't rain much more in the next couple of days!)

i didn't do a lot today... but we had to go shop cuz we skipped it Sunday. tomorrow Robert is coming at 10 am to fix my computer some more. i hate when i don't get to take my morning nap.

that's cool that you got to be your mom's hero biff, it's a good feeling (I always fix the tv or computer for my grandparents when they mess up and I feel like that too)

we decorated for Halloween at the newspaper office today, it looks fantastic! I kinda wanna steal one of the little plastic spiders we put up hey, it's fun to steal

also, I saw yesterday on the Colbert Report that Stephen Colbert announced plans to run for the presidency I'd totally vote for him!
