it's snowing here. is it snowing there?

my power blinked off & then back on 5 times between the time galoot left for work, & when i went back to bed. i don't know if it did it any more times while i was asleep. since i woke back up (around 10:30) it's been on.

man, galoot is gonna be so happy about the snow! he's been craving it all winter. i just hope he makes it home safely. he's an excellent snow driver, but not everybody else is.

i bet the people who live up north think we're a little bit nuts making such a fuss over 4 or 5 inches of snow. when you get that much here in the Ozarks, everything stops. if it's snowin, we ain't goin.
