I've been playing that lately it's cool, it's a lot more Halo like than I was expecting like a mean evil version of halo

I also got F.E.A.R but found out I was getting it for Xmas so I swapped it in for 2 other games

What's your video card?

horrid goblin- 12-17-2005
not sure I'll have to ask my brother when he wakes up tomorrow

I'm intrigued by both of those games but I don't have either. I don't think Quake would look too good on my computer tmbgtalk/-ponder.gif

It's not a matter of it looking good, it's a matter of it running well. Anyone can turn up the graphics all the way, but then it'll be unplayable. tmbgtalk/-frown.gif

it runs fine with the graphics turned all the way up on ours. my brother bought a superbeast of a computer through his work specifically to run Doom3 at full specs

I just played the demo and it ran fine with "medium" graphics. Thought I don't really see how it could look much better.

It was pretty fun and I can see how it could get loads better. It seemed pretty linear though. Does it stay like that the whole time or do you get a little bit more freedom to roam later on?

horrid goblin- 12-19-2005
not really cos it turns into the good ol labryth of corridors pretty quick and I'm guessing if you did have anymore freedom youd just get hoplessly lost

and with graphics boosted basically things are a little more detailed and smoother but mostly it's lighting effects where like blood actually looks shiny and wet not just red

Well I finished it, ending was kinda weak which I've noticed in a lot of games lately oh well onto F.E.A.R
