Oh biff...I totally agree. However, Africa wouldn't be such a horrible place if it hadn't of been colonized by Europe. Depleted of it's very valuable resources. Now their only resource the exporting trade. Here have some grain to feed your people. I don't want to even get into it because it's so much deepr than just a paragraph or two. It's complicated. I love America. I love what we stand for in our constitution. Don't get me wrong. I'm just afraid that we tend to forget sometimes. You know the saying about forgeting history means to repeat it.

I think the point of my dream was not to put blame on anyone. It was just a look at the past and how perhaps history is recorded so that we can learn enough not to repeat mistakes of the past. Of course it also depends on our ultimate goal. Kind of like...our government needs to step back and take a look at ourselves. Sometimes the government tends to stray away from certain issues because they have an agena...they get lost in the agenda and it's the people who remind them of "the course" Stay the course...you know. I don't think that World peace is impossible. I feel that What comes around goes around. I am a firm believer in the natural force of righteousnous. That the thier are no ways around the Laws of Nature. I am just afraid that the greed of some countries will ultimately destroy them. Perhaps not in this lifetime but...it's a possiblity that's very real. In my mind anyway.

It's not that I'm holding onto what happened over a hundred years ago and putting us down for it. I guess I'm just realizing that it's not much different than what we're doing now.

We're just not doing it here on American soil so it's hard to see it. It's hard to see it if you don't look at the whole picture either. Our investments and dealings with many countries not just Iraq. It's all based on the interests of large American Corperations...not the American people or society.

There are American Coorperations that run entire countries. United Fruit Corp for example.
Our government LOVES dictators because they "control" they keep their people in submission and in control and we come and use their backyards as our personal buisnessmans playground. Our businesses thrive in Dictator countries though so maybe it's a good thing for us.

Then on the other hand I almost want to say "yeah" to Cuba for managing to escape our hand. Cuba, the thorn in our side. Why, because we don't control them. Our businessmen can't go there and party like they used to.

I'm not anti American at all. I'm just anti bullshit. I don't have it all figured out though and probably never will so, I can't really preach. I just think some issues were bothering me and came out in a dream. A dream that showed me that...we might not of learned much from our past mistakes or perhaps...we just forgot.

history always repeats itself. it's just a fact of life. it's because people like having power. the good people who don't care about power don't run for office, & even if they did, they wouldn't get elected.

I don't even have to go look at it Horri...I remember. I was scared as hell! I think that's why so many people support it. They're scared. I didn't know ANYTHING about anything that was actually going on. All I knew is that everyday was just another day and then the buildings were attacked by terrorists and that our government knew who was responsible. All I knew was what the local news channels were telling me. I was seeing the buildings come down, the firefighters, the people who lost their families so of course being ignorant to anything else...(and being a vengence queen at heart as a first reaction anyway) I was like SLAUGHTER THEM.

I also had just finished a cultural class which included a little information about muslims and some of the crappy stuff they had done in Africa a long time ago and other places as well. They killed families that wouldn't conform to their religion. I thought that was what this was all about. I thought that it was an attack against America because they didn't like the way that we lived.

I've learned a little more since then. I think that the fear and ignorance is what gained so much support for this war. I'm not even saying that it didn't need to happen. I don't know...I'm no expert. I just feel that...well, here's an example...No ones fucking with New Zealand or Switzerland and that's probably because they're not fucking with anyone. You know what I mean.

I really didn't know much back then. I really was ignorant. I still am about a lot I'm sure. It's embarrassing. It's also sad because I know there are a lot of people in this country that felt the way that I did then. I don't even understand now...how I could of felt that way. It blows my mind. Fear and ignorance. You know it's like there is a little empty headed person standing and then you fill their head with lies that this whole country is bad and will destroy you and everything that you love. I have actually gotten in touch with a guy in Springfield MO who is doing a commercial and has an orginization going that is trying to help wake people up.

This country is built to where we run it. It takes time for changes to be made but I don't believe it's impossible. If my views could change so could others. I just know that so many people just don't care to get that involved. I guess I'm just trying to be hopeful that more people will wake up. I guess I'm spoutin' off about it at the wrong board though. I know most of you know what's up. I don't know...just tryin' to sort it all out in my brain.
