I'm so afraid. So excited, yet so afraid. For the past 5 years it's been just me and my OS9.
Through our ups and downs and heartaches and glory...I'm....afraid.

As your friendly neighborhood sounding board, I must say ... do NOT upgrade before you complete your research paper. Most likely it will go smoothly, but now that I've typed that, I've jinxed you.

Just to be safe, don't go into the upgrade with ANY deadlines looming.

Like a fool...I did. This month is becomming extrememly intense for me. Ok so...what are my choices...what's the best option:

A. Download my old OS 9 and hope I can find my office:mac disc to reload

B. Search like a made dog for some free writting program that will work with...

oh man. i don't know about you, but my kids hate Apple Works 6 on OS X. they'd much rather use word perfect on OS 9. i wonder if you can get that for OS X? i think they stopped making it after 9...

I am so procrastinating. Usually when I start comming around a lot it's because I'm avoiding school work. Oh man...I don't even know where to start. I just want to waller in my film disaster gloom and shuffle around feeling sorry for myself. The rain came just in time to add to my wonderful depression...I need some Tom Waits.

How do you pick up the pieces and go on to the next thing. I know...don't tell me...I'm just being dramatic everything feels so dramatic right now. I just need to do something bigger than the 48HFP now so that I can get the glory that I was anticipating...it was like I fell off of a 80 story building...you know...like I ran all the way up and my heart was pounding and then you just drop! Heart stops and everything goes black. What a ride. whaadaride I say.

Oh yeah...My Mac OSX...Hi stranger...everything is so...different...I just feel like I'm in a big twilight zone cloud. Too much at once man...and now my computer is foreign on top of it.

I loved appleworks but nobody else can do anything with it when I email it. My teacher said that the best is Microsoft Office which I think is Office: Mac for me. I think. I never even tried Word Perfect...I don't think. I've heard of it though. Why wouldn't a writting program come with Mac OSX Tiger? That's bullseed! I'm gonna search around later after I take a napper. I need something and fast.
