I guess it's slightly implied that if a person is a TMBG fan that they suffer from some sort of shyness. The ever-cliche`d TMBG-nerd connection.

Yes, that was an awesome concert, it was neat to meet Flansy. Hopefully I'll get to meet Linnell someday, as well.

it rocks how you got to talk to Flansy for so long. both times i met him i had a line of people behind me, so it was more of a 'hi how are ya - next' sort of deal.

the first time i ever saw them (in Fayetteville AR 1998) i was hideously depressed for like a month after, cuz i was afraid i'd never get to see Them again. the 2nd time (St Louis 2000orsomething) i cried after the show, because my kids were there, & it was all so perfect. the 3rd time i didn't have near as much emotional upheval. it was nice.

anyhoo, my point is... i totally understand your feelings after the show. seeing TMBG can be a deeply emotional experience.

I've only been to one TMBG show myself (Omaha, NE in 2004 -- there's a thread about it somewhere in this forum)... It think that's wonderful that you and Flans got to talk so much -- he's a sweetheart.
