..do you know where I can host a video so I can post it for viewing on places like, say, MySpace? It's 11.8 megabytes, so I need a place that'll let me host a file that big.

the best place i know for big files like that, that you can embed is ripway.com

they give you the codes even. they have a bandwidth limit, but it's pretty high, & as far as a free place, they're the best one i know of.

most places will shrink big files, but they don't, & most places won't host video files, but they will.

someone else might know a better place though.

According to that site, the daily bandwidth limit is 15mb, meaning only one person could download the video a day. >_> I'd be good for hosting pictures I suppose, but not something like a video. I use the free SiteSled.com, which has 100mb of space and 1GB bandwidth allowed per day (approximately 100 people could see your video per day). The only catch with SiteSled is that you need to make a website there, big or small, to prevent them from deleting your account. They don't appreciate people just using their site to host files. You can really do anything for the website, like a little photo gallery or something. Just something to convince them you didn't only sign up to host a video.

i didn't join, so i don't know how good or bad or free they are, but it seems like they'd be worth looking into. (i would imagine they're free, but i don't know for sure)

while i was there, i found my favourite World Party video! it's the one Jancee played for me on the MTV2 request hour back when MTV2 had Jancee Dunn & didn't suck.

Haha, I totally forgot about YouTube. That's definitely the best place to put your videos, unless you don't want them to be publicly viewable.

i went & found the tape of Jancee playing my requests. it took me like 2 seconds. she played Ana Ng, Don't Let's Start, & Ship of Fools for "Lisa in Arkansas". it was so fun to watch it again.

the other day on J2 they played the video of them dudes that did the big dance routine in one shot that you showed me one time, I was like hey it's the bees via biff video
