Who else just cannot wait any longer?

I have to. I still need a case, motherboard, cpu, and memory before I can play it.

Luckily, my Radeon 9800 pro came in today, finally. This computer will be screaming fast.... if I ever build it.

Cronny- 09-16-2004
You remind me of a friend of mine who just built a computer.

But I think we'll all have to wait Xplay said that someone announced a november release date.

Ugh... tmbgtalk/-ohwell.gif

YES!!!

Half-Life 2 and CS:S will both be released before mid-October. Did you beat the first HL, Cronny?

Cronny- 09-18-2004
Sadly no. I actually still play it from time to time, but I'm stuck and confused tmbgtalk/-laugh.gif

I really should though. tmbgtalk/icon2.gif

Did you?

WithACapitalQ- 09-18-2004
Yes, many many times. I first beat it years ago. You really should, the game only takes around a week from start to finish. I wouldn't play HL2 until I beat HL and maybe Opposing Force. If you have Steam, once you buy HL you get Opposing Force and many other games free.

Cronny- 09-26-2004
Beat it. tmbgtalk/-grnbiggrin.gif

Man, I hate the G-Man for what he did to Gordon at the end.

WithACapitalQ- 09-27-2004
Well, there are two endings. Of course, the bad one could've never occured, or else HL2 would not exist. Good job on beating HL. If you use Steam, now you can play Opposing Force for free. It's Half-Life, except you play as one of the soilders. A very cool twist.

Cronny- 10-09-2004
well yeah, I knew about the two endings, but even with the "good" ending, it still feels like an indignity. tmbgtalk/-ohwell.gif

Did you preload and purchase HL2 on Steam yet? HL2 just went gold today, and the game finished preloading yesterday.

Cronny- 10-18-2004
yeah, I preloaded it a couple of days ago.

Do you think it'll do me any good if I plan to buy it at a store rather than on steam?

WithACapitalQ- 10-18-2004
No, you should ALWAYS buy Valve games on Steam. I bought Gold the minute it was available. =D

Cronny- 11-14-2004
why is that?
