they always make new iMacs that make you wish you woulda waited instead of buying the new iMac you already have.

one of the disadvantages of having a mac: u have to buy a whole new computer every time you want to upgrade something. lol

like what? when the new OS comes out, i can put it on mine. i put Tiger on my old Mac before i gave it to the kids...

That's usually only true of the iMac line. The iMacs are for people who want a computer and don't want to change much about it. There's lots you can do yourself - Apple even has Do It Yourself guides to upgrading hard drive, memory, and other stuff. But if you want an expandable Mac, you go with the powerhouse non-iMacs.

That new one is mondo sexy, tho ...

about 8 years ago, i ran into a Best Buy to get a game I really wanted. I bought it, but when i got home, I realized that I got the Mac version!

I always have a hard time finding the Mac version of my tax software at Costco. THey order something like 50 pallets of Windows versions, and only 1 or 2 of Mac versions. Oh, well.

In other drooling news, I see iLife '08 is out ... gotta go check it out!

i don't even play the game anymore...
i should install it again though.
