rip sound from a video?
I'm working a movie and I need some sound effects ripped from a movie trailer
anyone know how?

i'd just Wiretap it, but i don't know the PC equivalent of Wiretap.

aah forget it, I can't find the right video to clip it out anyway
I got a new mic today so I'll record it straight from my TV

for future reference, if you want to rip sound from video, download Audacity. It's free open source for PC or mac.

Change the recording source to Wave Mix Out (its the drop down menu on the top right) then record.

i have Audacity, but i like WireTap lots better. i don't think there's a PC version though...
