Yep, this is the year I've been dreading. It's the year that none of the '81s got in. This includes The Minutemen, The Replacements, Husker Du, and I think Black Flag. What kind of a world is this?

Also, its should be a crime to put Blondie in the HOF before Captain Beefheart. They're leaving out the one who's probably the grea-*test*-('") of them all. I guess it's all about sales.

i'm not the biggest Beefheart fan, but anybody is better than Blondie, IMO. at least he was different, & not your usual run of the mill radio crap.

don't hold your breath for any of those bands getting in, ignatz. Husker Du & The Replacements have about as much chance as TMBG (when they're elegible) i figure. like none.

Well I know they'll never actually get in, but I can still dream. I just wonder what they're going to start doing now that they're running out of famous people to induct. They've kinda passed the classic era and they'll have to start inducting people from the 80s. I think I'll move to Europe when they let The Fixx in.
